Natuzzi is an award-winning Italian furniture company that is known worldwide. Natuzzi designer furniture was founded in 1950 when Pasquale Natuzzi opened his first workshop in Puglia, located in the heel of the boot of Italy. Today, Natuzzi is one of the most recognized designer brands in the global furniture industry. Fine Natuzzi products are distributed in furniture stores throughout Italy, the United States, China, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Brazil and Mexico. In 2018, Pasquale Junior Natuzzi was appointed Natuzzis new Creative Director and Stylist.
The Natuzzi Experience
Pasquale Natuzzi and his team study art, fashion and emerging trends in modern lifestyles to conceptualize new Natuzzi products. Designers, interior decorators and colorists collaborate to create beautifully designed pieces infused with a harmony of materials and colors. The design process ends with a prototype to ensure that each piece provides the function desired by todays furniture buyers. Initial production starts in the experimental workshop, where innovation meets technology. Skilled artisans craft each piece to perfection in Italian factories.
One Brand, Two Product Lines
The Natuzzi name is associated with fine leather sofas and loveseats for the living room. The company now operates as one brand with two product lines, Natuzzi Italia and Natuzzi Editions. The Natuzzi Italia line features products by internationally renowned designers who create signature sofas and storage pieces for the living room, dining room and bedroom. Accent lamps, rugs and accessories are available to personalize basic furniture items. The Natuzzi Editions line features a selection of innovative sofas with high style and exceptional comfort. Natuzzi also has a private label division.
Natuzzi Italia earned the prestigious Red Dot Award in design concept for 2019. The award was bestowed by an international panel of design experts considering design concepts from 48 countries. The distinctive Ergo collection, designed by Ross Lovegrove, is highlighted by organic designs inspired by forms found in nature along with renewable and recyclable materials. Textiles used in the upholstery are organic linen, wool and cotton. The Ergo collection features a grouping of bedroom furniture including a bed, a chaise longue, a chest of drawers, a valet stand, a rug and a mirror. Coordinating lighting in the form of a chandelier and a floor lamp is also included in the collection.
